Franklin's Focus!
We're always look for a better way to be more productive, to feel better about themselves. When I think about being productive, one person who comes to mind is Ben Franklin. He achieved so much in his lifetime without all of the resources that we have today. He was working on the same stuff that we are. What he figured out still applies today.
What I love about Ben is his daily focus on results. He asks questions at the beginning and the end of his day. They’re simple, direct, and upbeat.
His day starts and ends with a question, to help him stay on track, to focus on what he wants to accomplish.
He begins each day asking, “What Good shall I do this day?” (He establishes the result he’s looking for.) He ends each day asking, “What Good have I done today?” (Once again, looking for the result.) The good, the positive, the accomplishment.
Give it a try. It’s a simple and effective way to focus on priorities, and you’re guaranteed to improve your results.
